Great River Energy is a not-for-profit electric cooperative We are owned by our 28 member cooperatives for which we generate and transmit electricity. Our members are located in the outer-ring suburbs of the Twin Cities up to the Arrowhead region of Minnesota and down to the farmland region in the southwestern portion of the state. |
Our member cooperatives distribute electricity to approximately 639,000 homes, businesses and farms.
We are the second largest electric power supplier in Minnesota and one of the largest generation and transmission (G&T) cooperatives in the country.
