We currently have an opening for a Human Resources Specialist to work at our Coal Creek Station power plant located in Underwood, North Dakota. The successful candidate will provide high-quality human resource services for employees at our North Dakota locations to support a positive work environment, enhance employee productivity and improve organizational effectiveness. The primary areas of responsibilities are:
§ Recruitment – partner with the HR staff to identify and develop programs, processes and guidelines to help align the workforce strategy.
§ Benefits – partner with functional experts within the benefits area to ensure consistent practices and organization-wide initiatives are met when acting as the first point of contact to employees.
To qualify you must have a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business or a related field and two or more years of experience in a generalist capacity. The position requires the ability to maintain confidential information, build and maintain effective working relationships, good organizational, interpretive, interpersonal, and written and verbal skills.
