We are currently looking for a HRIS Analyst who will develop and maintain innovative and cost effective technology solutions within our Lawson HRIS system. In particular this role will ensure accurate and efficient maintenance, reporting and processing of employee data. Responsibilities will include:
- Works with Human Resources to identify specific business requirements and determine system and/or process needs to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Designs and develops business solutions based on business requirements to enable business improvements.
- Evaluates, coordinates and performs testing and training of the human resource modules for Lawson software implementations and upgrades.
- Develops and maintains HRIS system security to ensure confidentiality.
- Develops and maintains reports for external and internal reporting of employee information.
- Develops and conducts quality assurance testing to ensure quality products are delivered.
- Supports, enhances and maintains existing HRIS business applications to ensure their availability, performance, reliability, and security.
- Establishes strategic direction for HRIS business applications and related technologies to meet GRE’s long term goals.
To qualify you must have:
- A bachelors degree in business or technology related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience working in a HRIS environment along with at least two (2) years experience in a HR Generalist, benefits design and administration and/or payroll role.
- Lawson experience is strongly preferred with the HR modules, Add-ins, and LBI.
- Knowledge of human resource information systems, payroll processing, computer and business software applications.
- Knowledge and skills in with reporting tools such as Cognos, Crystal, and spreadsheet applications.
- Knowledge and skills in relational database technologies such as Oracle and SQL.
- Knowledge of human resource practices, procedures and employment laws.
- Knowledge of payroll, time accrual, and benefits processes.
- Skills in communication, both written and verbal, along with the ability to present a professional image, establish credibility, build relationships and partner with all levels of the organization.
- Skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to analyze, research, organize, and interpret data; possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to apply laws and regulations within compensation administration in regard to their effect on possible decisions, options and actions.
- Ability to develop and define technical processes, multi task and coordinate projects simultaneously while applying good time management and prioritization.
- Ability to understand systems, design reports, and improve information technology processes.
- Ability to work with confidential data and circumstances, maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and use sound judgment in dealing with others.
- Ability to work as a part of a cross-functional team to achieve project goals.
- Ability to work in a well-organized, self-directed manner and willingness to assist others as needed.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances; must be able to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
