New projects for making electricity In addition to the following generation projects we are pursuing, we will need to add significant resources in the coming years to meet growing member demand for electricity in the region. We will need to add approximately 1,100 megawatts of capacity over the next 15 years and also are committed to meeting the 25 percent Minnesota Renewable Energy Standard by 2025. These new resources would be in addition to our increasing load management and conservation efforts. |
